Photographs. On The Road: Thailand. Vol. 1

Thailand is truly a paradise for hitchhikers. From the moment I entered the country from Malaysia and until I crossed the Thai-Lao border, I never had any problems on the Road, and never waited more than 10-15 minutes. One good thing is that many people here own pickup trucks, and even if there’s no space in the cabin, you can always get in the back and enjoy the fresh ride.

Interesting fact: According to the “Country Report on Road Safety Initiatives in Thailand” (2013), the total length of roads in Thailand is 212,060 kilometers.
